Intro to Premier Pro

The first part of the lesson was mainly about getting comfortable about how to move about in premier and how the software it self works. Clips being used in premier are not saved but linked to so the footage and sound has to be in the same file. The footage in this case are several explosions that have been edited so they are shorter and had some transitions applied. Dissolve transitions are the only ones that are used here. The footage is rendered by pressing enter on the keyboard and exported in a H.264 format.

For the second part we mainly looked at creating effects using keynotes and moving the different footage around on the same screen. The keynotes used include shrinking and rotating footage as well as adding blur and grain. By this point I am very confident on how to use premier effectively.
