City 3 Fedora thumbnails
I only had time to do one set of thumbnails today that I chose to do for Fedora, the main feature of this city is that there is a museum with a crystal globe that contains lots of other globes showing a different possibility for what the city could look like. I started by attempting to draw what the museum could look like and then how the sphere could be positioned. The text mentions several features of the city they once had followed by the fact it isn't there anymore such as elephants and rivers. Considering each sphere is a different possibility for what the city could be I started putting the missing features back in the spheres, showing a possibility that they stayed. It eventually got to the point where I made the catch that the city being viewed is one from inside a sphere and started twisting the buildings in a circle like the viewer is looking into a sphere. The actual thumb nails quality has gone up considerably as I decided to use a different brush that suppose to resemble actual oil paint in mixer mode that is meant to simulate real painting techniques. The brush also happens to be my favorite. The down side is that these took much longer to make which is why there is only one set today so I will put aside more time tomorrow.
