After completing thumbnails for all the city's, I decided to pick two that I would potentially like to do for the final pieces and expand on them more. These ones are for Baucis which was the city on stilts. From the first set of thumbnails for this city I ended up making the buildings in diamond shapes suspended on stilts. Here I changed some of those ideas, the buildings are still diamond shaped but I made them attached to chains instead of stilts and at the bottom I put some anti gravity pads to make it float as shown in 81. I considered the diamonds as more a fleet of ships then houses which is similar to my original idea except here I am using space ships instead of traditional sailing ships. Pictures 83 to 86 show potential power supplies. The Baucis people where described as never coming down from there buildings so I decided to have them use clean power sources instead such as wind turbines or solar panels. Both 87 and 88 show an idea I had to connect all the buildings together with cables which lead to 89 where I coated the cable in solar panels.
